Research

Research in the van Veggel group is currently focussed on the synthesis, characterisation, and application of nanoparticles, specifically quantum dots and lanthanide based. Applications range from quantum computing, telecommunication, to bio-imaging and therapy.

Teaching

Dr. van Veggel's teaching interests include physical chemistry and industrially applied chemistry. So far he has taught Chem150, Chem245, Chem478, Chem670 and Chem680.
